Kristana Esperanto-Kongreso (50-a de KELI)
Ni, kristanoj el diversaj konfesioj, el 10 landoj kaj lingvoj, kongresis en Janské Lazné, en Ĉeĥa Respubliko, de la 5-a ĝis la 12-a de Aŭgusto 2000.
Dum tiu semajno, ni havis la okazon eklerni, per prezento de kelkaj figuroj, el la ĉeĥaj kulturo, literaturo, muziko, historio, ankaŭ el la ĉeĥaj ekleziaj historio kaj vivo.
Ni povis renkontiĝi kun pastoro Smetana, la prezidanto de la Ĉeĥ-frata Evangelia Eklezio.
Ĉeĥa kristana pentristo troviĝis inter ni, ekspoziciis, kaj povis klarigi iomete al ni sian arton.
Ni ankaŭ havis la eblecon aŭskulti kaj pridemandi tradukiston de la Biblio kaj de klasikaj tekstoj.
Ni, krome, profitis la okazon por viziti la regionon de la Montoj de la Gigantoj (Krknoše), kaj kelkajn lokojn gravajn por la chehha kulturo.
Ni, kiel ĉiujare, povis komune mediti la Biblion, preĝi, kanti kaj laŭdi Dion. Per tio ni alkutimiĝas al diversaj ekleziaj tradicioj.
Sed, ĉion ĉi tion ni povis fari komune, parolante inter ni unu internacian lingvon komunan, nome Esperanto.
Tiu senpera kontakto permesas pli veran konatiĝon, kaj rezultigas interŝanĝojn, respekton kaj amikiĝon.
Tiu ĉi kongreso, kiu estis jubilea, nia 50-a, estis okazo de rigardo al nia pasinteco, kun danko al Dio, kaj al la estonteco, kun plena espero : nova prezento de nia revuo Dia Regno, kaj baldaŭa eldono de Ekumena Diservo Libro Adoru.
Kristana Esperantista Ligo Internacia planas sekvantan kongreson, sian 51-an, kune kun la katolikoj ĉi-foje, en Zagreb, Kroatio, de la 14-a ĝis la 21-a de julio 2001.

Congrès des Espérantistes Chrétiens (50e de KELI)
Nous, chrétiens de diverses confessions, de 10 pays et langues, étions réunis en congrès à Janské Lazné, en République Tchèque, du 5 au 12 août 2000.
Pendant cette semaine, nous avons eu l’occasion d’approcher, par la présentation de quelques figures, la culture, la littérature, la musique et l’histoire tchèques, ainsi que l’histoire et la vie ecclésiales tchèques.
Nous avons pu rencontrer le pasteur Smetana, le président de l’Eglise Evangélique des Frères Tchèques.
Un peintre chrétien tchèque était parmi nous, a exposé, et a pu nous expliquer un peu de son art.
Nous avons aussi eu la possibilité d’écouter et d’interroger un traducteur de la Bible et de textes classiques.
De plus, nous avons profité de l’occasion pour visiter la région des Monts des Géants (Krknoše), et quelques endroits importants pour la culture tchèque.
Comme chaque année, nous avons pu, en commun, méditer la Bible, prier, chanter et louer Dieu. Par là même ni nous accoutumons à des traditions ecclésiales diverses.
Mais, tout ceci nous avons pu le faire en commun, parlant entre nous une langue internationale commune, c.a.d. l’Espéranto.
Ce contact sans intermédiaire nous permet un contact plus vrai, produit des échanges, du respect et de l’amitié.
Ce congrès, qui était pour nous jubilaire, étant notre 50e, a été l’occasion d’un regard sur notre passé, en remerciant Dieu, et sur l’avenir, remplis d’espérance : une nouvelle présentation de notre revue Dia Regno, et bientôt l’édition d’un recueil liturgique oecuménique, Adoru.
La Ligue Chrétienne Espérantiste Internationale (KELI) prévoit son prochain congrès, le 51e, commun avec les catholiques cette fois, à Zagreb, Croatie, du 14 au 21 juillet 2001.

Christian Esperanto Convention : 50th Congress of the International League of Christian Esperantists
We, Christians of various denominations from ten countries and ten language communities, met in congress in Janské Lazné, Czech Rep., August 5th through 12th, 2000.
During that week we had an opportunity to learn, through various presentations, a bit about Czech culture, literature, music and history, as well as the history and life of the Czech churches.
We were able to meet with Pastor Smetana, president of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren.
We had among us a Czech Christian painter, who showed us his paintings and was able to explain to us something of his art.
We also had the opportunity to ask a Bible translator and translator of classical and patristic texts.
We also took advantage of a chance to visit the region called the Mountains of the Giants (Krknoše) as well as some places of significance for Czech culture.
As we do every year, we were able to study the Bible together, to pray, sing, and praise God in community. In this way we became acquainted with varied denominational traditions.
All this was possible for us because we spoke one common international language, namely Esperanto. This direct contact allowed us a more genuine acquaintance with each other, fostering reciprocity, respect and friendship.
This Jubilee Congress -- our 50th -- was an occasion for looking back at our past, with thanks to God, and to the future, with full hope : a new appearance for our periodical, Dia Regno, and the imminent publication of the Ecumenical Service Book Adoru.
KELI -- the International League of Christian Esperantists -- is planning its next convention, the 51st, this time together with the Catholic Esperantists, in Zagreb, Croatia, July 14-21, 2001.
